摘要: Three grassland sites of similar physical characteristics but differing management histories were chosen to test the hypothesis that agricultural disturbance has a deleterious effect on diversity culturable root-endophytic fungi and favours potentially pathogenic species. Species abundance data collected for isolated from surface sterilised root samples. Brillouin index diversity, Twinspan detrended correspondence analysis applied community data. Quantitative ordination separated samples by site showing communities differed in fields contrasting this was supported microcosm experiment. presence absence appeared be affected seasonally; differences manifested relative abundance. Diversity did not appear vary site, methodological explanation is proposed. Sterile dark septate endophytes shown among most abundant groups at all sites.
