摘要: Abstract Excited states have been identified in the very neutron-deficient 112 Xe nucleus. The ground-state band has observed up to spin 12 ℏ, and a negative-parity side 13 ℏ. bands assigned by detecting gamma rays coincidence with evaporated charged particles neutrons. energy of 2 + 1 state is lower than would be expected from both calculations systematics neighboring xenon isotopes, which indicates larger deformation. observations low-lying 3 − large deduced B (E1) values are suggestive increased octupole correlations, may explain apparently Constrained Hartree–Fock+BCS performed show qualitative agreement trend deformation isotopes.
