摘要: Abstract Bacterial infection of metal biomaterial implants after surgery represents a minority cases, but is persistent and serious problem in healthcare environments. Implant can lead to variety complications, such as chronic inflammation implant loosening, delay wound healing proper osseointegration. These problems microbial are made worse by the growing awareness significance antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains that often associated with hospital-acquired infections. This chapter will review some material surface treatments coatings have been developed help reduce potential for adhesion, growth biofilm colonization surface.
