摘要: When a hormone or neurotransmitter binds to receptor on the membrane of target cells, it triggers formation second messengers that are responsible for translating occupancy into cellular responses. For example, binding dopamine D1-type receptors neurons stimulates activity enzyme adenylate cyclase, which catalyzes conversion ATP cyclic AMP. This messenger, in turn, and activates specific protein kinase, kinase A, phos-phorylates select intracellular proteins. Phosphorylation modifies biological these proteins forms basis many physiological effects central nervous system.1
