摘要: PURPOSE As there is paucity of data on radical prostatectomy (RP) as a primary treatment for patients with localized prostate cancer, we analyzed the trends in RP practice England. MATERIALS AND METHODS This study was carried out 14 300 who underwent carcinoma prostate. Database prepared from hospital episode statistics Department Health National were summarized well volume outcome analysis. RESULTS Annual number RPs exponentially increased 972 (1998 to 1999) 3092 (2004 2005). Laparoscopic 2 257 over period. Median waiting duration by more than 10 days (13 days). Significant decrease median length stay 8 (range, 7 10) 6 5 8) observed (P < .001). More 90% mortality seen ≥ 60 years age. inverse correlation found between (Odds Ratio: 0.40) and in-hospital rate following RP. High surgeons (≥ 16) high hospitals 26) had significantly lower 0.32) shorter comparison low hospitals. CONCLUSION There an exponential increase increasing trend towards laparoscopic showed significant provider (hospital surgeon) (in-hospital stay) England; thus, supporting recommendations centralization care complex procedures, including
