摘要: Vehicle emissions estimates are needed at high spatial and temporal resolution to estimate near-roadway air quality human exposures. The MOBILE6 emission factor model is based on transient test cycles of less than 65 mph. Correction factors for speed constant developed vehicle-specific power-based modal models light duty gasoline vehicles, using data from portable measurement systems. At 80 mph versus mph, the estimated average rates greater by 30%, 20%, 80%, 10% nitrogen oxides (NOx), hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, dioxide. ratio range 0.49 0.94 NOx speeds 20 correction applied vehicle a freeway segment that includes cruising between potential error not accounting operation short highway could be 49% moderate 24% speed.
