摘要: We demonstrate Sensor Andrew, an infrastructure for Internet-scale sensing and actuation across a wide range of heterogeneous devices. The goal Andrew is to enable variety ubiquitous large-scale monitoring control applications in way that extensible, easy use, secure while maintaining privacy. core architecture built around the eXtensible Messaging Presence Protocol (XMPP) where transducers are modeled as event nodes push-based publish-subscribe architecture. allows integration new sensors well support legacy systems. A data handler provides registration, discovery logging facilities each device. major elements this have been deployed five buildings at Carnegie Mellon University, comprised over 1000 points reporting from multiple communication interfaces. Our demonstration will showcase already active sensor systems on campus using through web interface ability locally configure actuator interactions example how larger-scale could be built.
