摘要: In this work an attempt has been made for design optimization of composite drive shafts power transmission applications. The one-piece shaft is designed to replace conventional steel automobile using E-glass / epoxy and high modulus (HM) carbon/epoxy composites. A formulation solution technique genetic algorithms (GAs) presented here. purpose GA minimize the weight that subjected constraints such as torque transmission, torsional buckling capacities fundamental lateral natural frequency. savings were 48.36 % 86.90 respectively.
