摘要: Organic agriculture is developing worldwide, and organic rabbit production has developed within this context. It entails raising rabbits in moving cages or paddocks, which enables them to graze grasslands. As farmers currently lack basic technical information, the objective of article characterize herbage intake, feed intake growth rate raised on grasslands different environmental management contexts (weather conditions, grassland type complete supplementation). Three experiments were performed with at an experimental station. From weaning, grazed a natural grassland, tall fescue sainfoin 1, 2 3, respectively. Rabbit diets supplemented pelleted limited 69 g dry matter (DM)/rabbit per day experiment 1 52 DM/rabbit 3. Herbage allowance fiber, DM protein contents, as well live weight, measured weekly. Mean differed significantly (P<0.001) between experiments. was highest (78.5 DM/day) 43.9 51.2 DM/day most significant determinant during grazing, followed by metabolic weight (live weight0.75) fiber contents. Across experiments, 10 increase 100 corresponded mean 6.8 9.6 When including feed, daily intakes among (P<0.001), ranging from 96.1 163.6 1. Metabolic increased linearly over time all three yielding rates 26.2, 19.2 28.5 g/day The obtained despite lower concentrate supplementation. Thus, it seems possible reduce supplementation without reducing animal performance. This possibility requires improving our knowledge about systems especially grazing health management.
