摘要: Abstract Background Almost one in every 10 patients who survive intensive care will be readmitted to the unit (ICU) during same hospitalisation. The association between increasing severity of illness (widely calculated ICU patients) with risk readmission has not been systematically summarized. Objective meta-analysis was designed combine information from published studies assess relationship and Data sources Studies were identified by searching MEDLINE (1966 August 2008), EMBASE (1980–2008), CINAHL (1982 2008). Review methods included only adult populations, readmissions hospitalisation reports valid index. Results Eleven (totaling 220000 meta-analysis. However, further research is required develop more comprehensive tools identify allow targeted interventions, such as ICU-outreach follow-up these minimize adverse events.
