摘要: Background: Ibuprofen and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are widely used to block pain inflammation in a variety of settings. Contrarily, opioid analgesia does not the inflammatory component use these agents can be accompanied by serious side effects. We conducted multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial evaluate safety efficacy intravenous ibuprofen (IV-ibuprofen) as postoperative analgesic. Methods: A total 319 patients were randomly assigned 1:1 ratio receive 800 IV-ibuprofen or placebo every 6 hours; addition had access morphine at dose 1–2 mg 5 minutes. The primary outcome measure was median consumption within first 24 hours following surgery. Results: During treatment, requirement reduced 19% (P ≤ 0.001) resulted significant reduction rest (AUC, 12 hours, P < 0.001) with movement P = 0.010 P ≤ 0.001) measured visual analog scale (VAS) receiving 800 mg compared placebo. Time ambulation significantly faster (P = 0.018) treated group, well. Similar treatment-emergent adverse events occurred across both study groups there no difference overall incidence events. Conclusion: This demonstrated that is an effective analgesic medication safe well tolerated when administered undergoing abdominal hysterectomy surgery.
