摘要: After almost three years of preparation, the tiered pricing for household electricity (TPHE) was implemented across China in July 2012. The feedbacks consumption to new policy are investigated this paper based on micro household-level data from China’s Residential Energy Consumption Survey (CRECS). We document that 82% surveyed households did not affected by TPHE, which is conformity with principle TPHE on. More importantly, factors influence elasticity examined empirical model paper. Results indicate such as energy price, income, and demographic attributes have significant impacts residential consumption. Further discussion outcomes show publicity price some other strongly correlated probability change inefficient lavish pattern Future directions design improvement reform thus suggested.
