摘要: Deoxythymidine kinase levels in liver were maximally enhanced by 12-fold at 24 hr after partial hepatectomy while aspartate transcarbamylase reached maximum activity 48 hr. The rates of turnover deoxythymidine and its template RNA studied with the use cycloheximide actinomycin D, respectively. The half-life (t½) for 24-hour regenerating control adult was 7.5 3.0 hours, respectively. t½ >24 hours both liver. The livers determined; 3.7 26 hr, respectively. It is concluded that immediately following hepatectomy, a substance elaborated which may prolong life messenger inactivating catabolic mechanism this manner ultimately lead to greater intracellular concentration enzyme.
