摘要: AIM Dysplasia of the fibrous sheath (DFS) is an anomaly found in asthenozoospermic patients with extremely low or absent motility. In order to determine efficacy ICSI these patients, a retrospective analysis results DFS has been done. METHODS Ten attempts were performed 6 diagnosis Fibrous Sheath studied by transmission and scanning electron microscopy. RESULTS cases studied, sperm concentration was (29.62 +/- 18.05) x 10(6)/mL, total motility 1.14 1.31%. Progressive 0% except for one case 0.1% . One hundred three preovulatory oocytes obtained 94 metaphase II injected. Sixty-nine them showed two pronuclei (fertilization rate: 73.4%). Forty-nine embryos 34 transferred (mean: 3.4 per transfer). Five pregnancies diagnosed beta-hCG plasma level determinations that resulted be preclinical abortion, clinical abortion deliveries. Another pregnancy (ongoing) achieved from cryopreserved embryo transfer. CONCLUSION These provides suitable solution suffering irreversible defects such as DFS. Nevertheless, it mandatory inform couples possible risks offspring, which are unknown at present. Only when etiology this problem disclosed, will assess real genetic risk.
