摘要: It is a cross-sectional study, comparing the prevalence of Helicobacter pylori infection (prevalence IgG antibodies to H. pylori) in healthy population Ubrique and Grazalema (mountain location, mortality from stomach cancer 20/100,000) Barbate, (coastal 10/100,000) province Cadiz, southern Spain. The subjects were randomly selected, 163 men 169 women, 18 years or older; 179 persons studied inland, 154 littoral January 1997. Of 332 investigated, 43% positive, mean antibody titer 337 IU/l (95% CI: 254–420), 56% negative, with 15–19). In coastal population, 30% has positive titers 54% mountain location. By age: 18–40 years, 41% inland had titers; 41–60 35% those living 58% > 60 24% inhabitants 62% titers. Living locations Cadiz involves greater ecological risk for (p < 0.05).
