摘要: To demonstrate the effect of auxin on intact coleoptile growth, garlic (Allium sativum L.) cloves were inoculated in agar supplemented with DW (control), GA3 and GA3+tryptophan (a precursor IAA, GA3+T). The coleoptiles harvested at 24 h intervals to measure growth terms length, activities IAAld DH (which convert tryptophan IAA) peroxidase (that oxidizes IAA). Contents endogenous IAA PAA also measured by indirect ELISA. Peroxidase activity was suppressed treatment increased GA3+T treatment. Although contents addition even more media, there no further increase suggesting that are sufficient their production IAA.
