摘要: This work details the development and application of porous pressure-sensitive paint (PSP) for measuring unsteady surface pressures in turbomachinery. The advantages PSP over conventional methods include global pressure measurement, fast response time, instrumentation thin turbomachinery components that are otherwise difficult or impossible to instrument. In this paper, development, calibration, discussed. Porous formulations were developed ensure times good adhesion characteristics rotating parts. Experimental such as phase-locking image registration acquire quality data. Dynamic calibrations with a fluidic oscillator performed, indicating have time up 40 kHz. For application, inlet wall impeller blades turbocharger compressor painted fast-responding polymer/ceramic PSP. was operated at 100,000 rpm, corresponding blade-passage frequency (BPF) 10 Even high speed BPF, able resolve distributions about blade. addition, flow blockage created induce an distortion on compressor. 1.67 kHz blade loading. Potential applications testing evaluations rotor/stator interaction, flutter, distortion, stall, surge.
