摘要: Variation of soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] growth and yield with planting date may be a response to changes in the plant, environment, or combination both. This 2-yr experiment studied effects on durations vegetative reproductive stages, duration, temperature, precipitation five cultivars each representing maturity group (MG IV-VIII) under dryland conditions. Planting dates were scheduled for 14-d intervals from late April mid-July, 2008 2009. Length growing season shortened later dates, shortening was greater stages compared especially MGs. Duration flowering decreased more rapidly MG V through VIII (-0.60 1.18 d per delay) than IV (insignificant). Pod-set duration declined slowly all MGs insignificantly 2008. There no conclusive relationship between seed-fill date. stage positively correlated MG. At stage, ofMG while yields precipitation. Precipitation during pod-set main factor determining Temperature These results suggest that May would achieve potential by extending development avoiding cooler temperature seed-fill.
