摘要: Fruitore is an Italian word straight from the Latin (the verb fruor means to utilize with advantage, metaphorically harvest fruits. I use this uncommon foreign substantive because it happens be most concise and precise, as compared English French (exploitateur? utiliseur? jouisseur?). Having explained word, my assignment convince reader that every experimental immunologist a potential fruitore of models (and will become actual one in near future). This was unforeseeable past, would not have written sentence year ago. The following factors, which NATO-Gulbenkian workshop best proof, played into hands. a) Theoretical immunology has been experiencing substantial boom during past several years, thanks many new groups world over joining what had restricted club friends. b) focus more precisely coincident experiments performed discussed conventional (classical) laboratories. c) Only part consequence b), immunologists are changing their traditional apartheidlike attitude towards theorists.
