摘要: An improvement in the suspension polymerization of a polymerizate containing at least 70 percent polyvinyl halides with no polymer deposits by steps mixing (1) monomers selected from group consisting vinyl and mixtures up to 30 weight olefinically unsaturated compounds copolymerizable halides, (2) an oil-soluble free-radical-forming catalyst, (3) stabilizers including protective colloids, (4) water, heating said mixture under agitation temperatures recovering polymerizate, comprises conducting presence 2 2,000 ppm, based on water content, water-soluble reducing agents, reactor whose inner surface has mean peak-to-valley height most 10 mu where flow velocity is 0.3 m/sec., whereby recovered substantially without deposits.
