摘要: To determine the reliability and validity of Asthma Control Test (ACT) to detect Global Initiative for (GINA)-defined uncontrolled or partly controlled asthma, agreement between ACT GINA in classifying asthma control among Vietnamese patients. A cross-sectional study was performed 323 360 invited outpatients with Ho Chi Minh City compare classification control. Internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha) 0.83. The kappa coefficient 0.55, based on ternary split, represents moderate two rating systems a correctly classified rate 75%. area under receiver operating characteristics curve score predicting 0.85. GINA-defined ‘not asthma’, had sensitivity 70%, specificity 93%, positive predictive value 89%, cut-off point 19. regard consistent across both sexes, but less so adolescents younger adults. significantly correlated percentage predicted forced expiratory volume 1 second (r=0.35, p<0.001) peak flow (r=0.26, p<0.001). is useful identifying asthma.
