摘要: This paper, by simple model studies, demonstrates that the low friction observed for long runout landslides can be explained in terms of particle dynamics, without intervention extraneous devices such as air-layers. The proposed mechanism assumes bulk material rides on a thin layer highly agitated particles at concentration. By employing technique two-dimensional dynamic computer simulation, I demonstrate (1) this is state to which granular tends when sliding down an inclined plane and (2) it sufficient explain reduction. Finally, present mathematical yields order magnitude predictions distance. argument suggests there may nothing particularly special about (except, perhaps, way they are initiated) behave would expected given current knowledge flows.
