摘要: Abstract This work conducts a comparison study of matched interface and boundary (MIB) method its interpolation formulation for free vibration analysis stepped beams plates. Two types schemes are used to describe the relations between interfaces grid points in one-dimensional two-dimensional domains. In first scheme, located on points, while, second lie points. Detailed procedures MIB (IMIB) presented these two schemes. Based in-depth understanding MIB, new algorithm is also developed deal with cross derivatives conditions plates lying improve accuracy. Various examples chosen illustrate performance IMIB. research reveals that whole, IMIB equivalent solutions eigenvalues However, some differences can be observed very large computational bandwidths. Some important conclusions drawn at end this study.
