摘要: The purpose of this investigation is to find out suitability the solar chimney natural ventilation system in a Zero Energy Lab located at University North Texas campus, figure performance chimney. Reduction heating and air conditioning energy consumption house has been also analyzed. parameters which are considered for volumetric flow rate outlet chimney, absorber wall temperature glass temperatures. ANSYS FLUENT 14.0 employed 3-D modeling dimensions 14’2” X 7’4” 6’11”. inside found be laminar simulation results show that maximum about 0.12m3/s or 432 cfm possible from experimental velocity was 0.21 m/s. Density Boussinesq approximation modeling. Velocity sensors have installed inlet order validate results. It based on simulated cooling load 9.29 kwh can saved fan power 7.85 Watts saved.
