摘要: Objectives: The concept of “Abnormal illness behavior (AIB)” has been evolved to a greater extent in the last century. Henry Sigerist introduced “illness behavior” 1929. Mechanic & Volkart defined and further conceptualized impression on behavior. Talcott Parson had given “Sick role,” Issy Pilosky familiarized notion “abnormal behavior.” main objective this article is review conceptual evolution analyze its current clinical implications. Methods: Extensive search literature was performed regarding abnormal behavior, sick role online web searching sites like – Google Scholar, PubMed individual journal as well google books. critically reviewed with personal inputs from authors. Results: Abnormal ranges denial one extreme conscious amplification symptoms other. noticed various conditions stress-related disorder, disorders, factitious disorder malingering.
