Alternative medicine and the medical profession: views of medical students and general practitioners.

摘要: A survey was undertaken to explore the attitudes and practices of general practitioners medical students in United Arab Emirates with regards forms therapy not generally accepted by conventional medicine, including herbal acupuncture, homeopathy, spiritual osteopathy/chiropractic. The study found that alternative medicine is common use complement a section educated people within health care system. Our observations lead us appreciate its role community indicate need design culturally appropriate curricula which incorporate information about medicine.
