摘要: The Cryogenic Dark Matter search experiment (CDMS) employs low-temperature Ge and Si detectors to detect WIMPs via their elastic scattering of target nuclei. last analysis with an germanium exposure 397.8 kg-days resulted in zero observed candidate events, setting upper limit on the spin-independent WIMP-nucleon cross-section 6.6 x 10^{-44} cm^2 (4.6 cm^2, when previous CDMS Soudan data is included) for a WIMP mass 60 GeV. improvements surface event rejection capability current about factor 2.5 greater than used will be discussed. To increase sensitivity beyond 1 benchmark new inch thick have been developed. A first tower consisting six these has successfully installed at site. These 15 kg SuperCDMS stage expected 5 10^{-45} cm^2. In addition, Collaboration started look signatures non dark matter particles, which may explain annual modulation signature by DAMA.
