摘要: The problem of producing bulk specimens by explosive compaction a synthetic diamond powder without binders and catalytic additions is considered. method long–pulse with the use multilayered charges total mass up to 760 kg used in experiments. physicochemical properties resulting compacts are studied detail. It shown that, for relatively low loading pressures, makes it possible produce whose hardness equal that usually obtained under higher (by one order magnitude) shock pressures pulse duration ≈1 μsec. In contrast short–pulse loading, ensures considerable decrease cracking compacts.
