摘要: Pituitary apoplexy is one of uncommon but most important disorders the nervous system, its optimal management still remains controversial due to lack randomized controlled trials in literature. Even today, it unclear for majority patients whether surgical or conservative provides best outcome pituitary apoplexy. In this chapter, a summary definition, history, incidence, histopathological findings and pathophysiology clinical manifestations was given neurosurgeons, endocrinologists, neuro-ophthalmologists, neuroradiologists neuropathologists.
