摘要: Published criteria for the separation of Reed Warbler Acrocephalus scirpaceus and Marsh A palustris in hand were found to be limited value identifying these species samples captured during autumn migration through island Lesvos Aegean Sea. This is probably because morphology varies clinally with birds eastern Europe (likely migrating Lesvos) being more similar Warblers than are populations western from which existing identification calculated.
