Investigating the effect of molar ratio between TiO2 nanoparticles and titanium alkoxide in Pechini based TiO2 paste on photovoltaic performance of dye-sensitized solar cells

摘要: Abstract Recombination of electrons in TiO 2 conduction band has detrimental effects on the performance dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). Good connection between nanoparticles, meso-porous layer, causes a significant reduction recombination reaction rate. In present work, Pechini sol–gel method was used for synthesis nanoparticle pastes with different amounts titanium tetra-isopropoxide (TTIP) their sol precursors. The synthesized paste fabrication photoanode DSSCs. Then, effect TTIP content precursor photovoltaic DSSCs investigated. For all pastes, amount kept constant which led to layers same porosity. Results showed that first increases and then decreases increasing precursor. It concluded increase DSSC is due good nanoparticles decrease micro-cracks high
