摘要: With the significant increase in production and use of carbon nanotubes (CNTs), they will be inevitably released into aquatic environments. Therefore, fate transport CNTs aqueous solutions have attracted extensive attention. In present work, effects natural organic matter (NOM), solution pH ionic strength on adsorption three synthetic chemicals (SOCs) by both pristine surface functionalized single-walled (SWNTs) multi-walled (MWNTs) were investigated. The SOCs (phenanthrene, biphenyl, 2-phenylphenol) with different planarity, polarity, hydrogen/electron-donor/acceptor ability, representing typical scenarios for SOC-CNT interactions, employed as probe molecules. Among background characteristics examined, NOM showed most effect SOC adsorption, while exhibited minimal or negligible impacts. presence greatly suppressed CNTs, impact SWNTs was higher than that MWNTs. planarity hydrophobicity two important factors determining NOM, their CNTs.
