摘要: A new method is introduced that estimates EMG signal cancellation in surface recorded investigations. Its usefulness demonstrated when determining changes the maximal motor response (M-wave) magnitude during rest and voluntary contraction. The accuracy of recording analysis methods reliability M-wave were assessed human gastrocnemius soleus. was by bipolar electrodes placed 2 cm, 3 cm 4 apart, monopolar (one active one indifferent reference) electrodes. Up to 85% lost due recording. decreased consistently significantly triceps surae contraction compared but not Area peak-to-peak (PTP) amplitude provided similar results M-wave. This provides evidence superior Lis it removes error allows genuine be observed. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
