摘要: Abstract We hypothesized that elevated atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration [CO2] as a feature of climate change promotes the occurrence soil water repellency (SWR) which reduces mineralization and thus increases sequestration. Soil surface transects under (475 μL L−1) ambient in long-term Free Air Carbon Dioxide Enrichment experiment were sampled at high spatial resolution. All samples hydrophobic time sampling. At micro-scale, differences degree persistence SWR, organic matter (SOM) content, microbial respiration rates (MRR) content between treatments not significant. SWR was correlated with SOM or MRR. A strong correlation contents parameters demonstrated importance for redistribution. meso-scale disc infiltrometry, infiltration reduced by higher than [CO2]. This corroborates tendency observed micro-scale. showed structure, exhibiting short ranges. MRR no pattern scale analyzed, emphasizing did contribute to an increase terrestrial C sink response increased
