摘要: Purpose The purpose of this study was to retrospectively assess the feasibility radiation therapy planning for glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) based on use methionine (MET) positron emission tomography (PET), and correlation among MET uptake, dose, tumor control. Methods Materials Twenty-two patients with GBM who underwent MET-PET prior were enrolled. uptake in 30 regions interest (ROIs) from 22 GBMs, biologically effective doses (BEDs) ROIs their ratios (MET uptake:BED) compared terms whether controlled >12 months. Results significantly correlated control (odds ratio [OR], 10.0; P =.005); however, there a higher level between uptake:BED (OR, 40.0; Conclusions Target delineation demonstrated be feasible treatment planning. could not only provide precise visualization infiltrating cells but also predict required target regions.
