摘要: The purpose of this study was to modify Heiss and Owens's (1972) formulation on trait differences in the self-evaluations blacks whites integrate it with literature sex role socialization, thereby elaborating instrumental-expressive dichotomy they proposed so as generate test hypotheses regarding race, gender, SES self-evaluations. University students rated themselves a fifteen-item semantic differential scale. A principal component factor analysis varimax rotations yielded five factors, three factors were seen private-domain, one public-domain, mixed. series 2X2X2 ANOVAS indicated that (1) public-domain factor, black females more positively than did white females, while males not differ; (2) two private-domain factors; (3) indicative feminine stereotype; (4) appeared particular.
