摘要: The purpose of this study was to determine whether trains subthreshold high frequency conditioning stimuli (333 Hz, 1 ms duration, 2 interval) delivered the canine ventricle inhibited response a premature stimulus (S2) more effectively than did single stimulus. It found that (mean 1.21 mA) S2152 beyond expiration ventricular effective refractory period, whereas S2only 20 or less period. In late diastole, failed inhibit S2when train caused depolarization latter occurred in next sinus impulse. Trains not induce arrhythmias. Lidocaine autonomic blockade alter stimuli. when they were at same electrode site. By lengthening could prevent terminate tachycardias, but possibility is constrained, present, by spatial limitations technique.
