摘要: Phosphorus is an essential nutrient for maintaining life. As a result, the natural sources of phosphorus are being exploited at unsustainable pace. However, release from wastewater effluent has been one major causes eutrophication in receiving water bodies. Consequently, it become increasingly compelling to remove and recover wastewater. This chapter reviews various conventional emerging physical–chemical technologies removal recovery phosphorous, including chemical precipitation, crystallization, ligand exchange, adsorption, magnetic separation, nanotechnologies. The principle, effectiveness, applications process discussed.
