摘要: Parthenogenesis under influence of microbes in Thysanoptera. Several thrips species were tested for the presence parthenogenesis-inducing bacteria genus Wolbachia using primers amplifying either 16S rDNA gene or ftsZ gene. Tested show arrhenotoky (Frankliniella occidentalis, Echinothrips americanus, Gynaikothrips ficorum, Suocerathrips linguis) thelytoky (Hercinothrips femoralis, Parthenothrips dracaenae). In contrast, Thrips tabaci reproduces by some areas and others. The thelytokous H. femoralis P. dracaenae possess Wolbachia, bacterium was shown to cause reproduction since male offspring could be generated treating females with antibiotics. Males copulated sperm found spermathecae females. arrhenotokous E. G. S. linguis also have but not detected F. occidentalis T. tabaci.
