摘要: This study focuses on the influence of gas seepage methane sources and sinks, aerobic anaerobic oxidation mediating microbial organisms in Black Sea. We present data from two cruises that took place 2001 2003. Seven stations (two shelf, four upper lower slope, one central basin) were compared with respect to concentration isotope signature. The differed depending location slope. A strong change isotopic composition was observed below oxic/anoxic interface, coinciding increased levels archaeal biomarkers (archaeol sn-2-hydroxy-archaeol). Concentration water column sediments indicate deep basin are only minor methane. main seeps located shelf but also basin. comparison without showed a difference concentrations, rates, presence similar methanotrophic assemblages. Also at seep outside area compared, here concentrations rates not different each other. Anaerobic oxidizers (ANME-1 ANME-2 group) both slightly higher cell counts station.
