摘要: This paper presents a review of the major fatigue models and life time prediction methodologies for fibrereinforced polymer composites, subjected to loadings. In this review, have been classified in three categories: models, which do not take into account actual degradation mechanisms but use S-N curves or Goodman-type diagrams introduce some sort failure criterion; phenomenological residual stiffness/strength; finally progressive damage one more variables related measurable manifestations (transverse matrix cracks, delamination size). Although does pretend be exhaustive, most important proposed during last decades included, as well relevant equations upon respective are based.
