摘要: Background Understanding the evolution of species limits is important in ecology, evolution, and conservation biology. Despite its likely importance these limits, little known about phenotypic covariance geographically marginal populations, degree to which it constrains, or facilitates, responses selection. We investigated morphological traits at species’ borders by comparing matrices (P), including shared structure, distribution strengths pair-wise correlations between traits, integration ranks matricies, central populations three species-pairs coral reef fishes.
