摘要: Analytic features of the spectra due to excitation a core electron in metal with an incomplete shell are studied simple model. The (denoted by d state, representatively) is treated as nondegenerate localized state interacting conduction band through s – mixing. It assumed that initial absorption unoccupied level well above Fermi energy e F while final states excited atom lowered down hole left behind. When > , singular edge appears at \(\tilde{\varepsilon}_{\text{F}}\) expected, antiresonance around \(\tilde{\varepsilon}_{d}\). < \(\tilde{\varepsilon}_{d}\), threshold being blurred out life time effect hole. Emission also calculated. results compared qualitatively experimental data.
