Immunomodulatory properties of mesenchymal stem cells

摘要: Mesenchymal stem cells are a kind of adult existing in many tissues including bone marrow,liver,and fat and play critical role the maintenance cellular homeostasis various tissues.Due to their strong self-renewal capacity high potential multilineage differentiation,MSCs expected contribute significantly development new strategies for treatment some otherwise incurable disease.In addition,MSCs also possess immunomodulatory ability.They can actively suppress immune reactions after being stimulated by inflammatory cytokines,and therefore,they investigated decreasing immunological rejections,prolonging survival allogeneic graft,and control autoimmune disorders.This review will focus on current understanding mechanism interactions between MSCs system.
