摘要: In this paper, I offer a detailed reconstruction and critical analysis of Abraham Maslow’s neglected psychological reading Thomas Kuhn’s famous dichotomy between ‘normal’ ‘revolutionary’ science, which Maslow briefly expounded four years after the first edition The Structure Scientific Revolutions, in his small book Psychology Science: A Reconnaissance (1966), relies heavily on extensive earlier general writing motivational personality psychology. Kuhnian ideas, put forward as part larger program for psychology outlined already 1954 magnum opus Motivation Personality, are analyzed not only context original ‘psychologizing’ attitude toward understanding nature development but also broader historical, intellectual social context.
