Translational research in the science policy debate: a comparative analysis of documents

摘要: Translational research (TR) can be viewed as a prominent concept that reflects expectations of societal relevance and has become an important issue in science policy. This article analyses the framings TR policy discourse by comparing papers USA some European countries. Problem frames favor are interpreted expressions specific conceptions science, being either organizational or professional. Based on qualitative content analysis, different documents relating to between 2003 2013 Europe compared. I found is more strongly framed professional problem whereas Europe, problem. It argued these have consequences for steering TR.
