摘要: A SERIES OF DESIGN CURVES FOR 18,000 LB AXLE LOADING IS BASED ON THE THREE-LAYER ELASTIC THEORY AND TAKES FATIGUE FACTOR INTO ACCOUNT. METHOD PROVIDES PAVEMENT THICKNESS WHICH ADEQUATE TO PREVENT FAILURE AT CRITICAL LOCATIONS IN STRUCTURE CONSIDERATION BEING GIVEN EXTENT STRAIN /DISPLACEMENT/ SUBGRADE MAGNITUDE TENSILE BASE ASPHALT SURFACING. WITHIN CALCULABLE LIMITS SURFACING CAN BE REPLACED BY EACH OTHER. EXAMPLES DEMONSTRATE USE THESE PRINCIPLES WEAK STRONG PAVEMENTS. /RRL/
