摘要: Hintergrund Die perioperative Radiochemotherapie (RChT) beim lokal fortgeschrittenen Rektumkarzinom (LARC) ist seit den 1990er Jahren als Standard in Deutschen Leitlinien verankert. Die neoadjuvante 5-Fluorouracil- (5-FU-) basierte RChT hat hierbei die adjuvante vor etwa 10 abgelost. Ziel des vorliegenden Beitrags es, Studiendaten zum Ersatz von 5-FU durch orale Fluoropyrimidine, Stellenwert der adjuvanten Chemotherapie, Einsatz Oxaliplatin sowie monoklonalen Antikorpern darzustellen und kritisch zu wurdigen.
