摘要: The World Health Organization (WHO) is mandated to be the United Nations specialized agency for health. However, in light of changing disease trends, increased “globalization” health, and entry other actors into health arena, much current discourse global research discusses future WHO its role governing how this should, or can change. This paper examines diplomacy promotion security by examining Indonesian virus-sharing case. In 2007, government pulled out Global Influenza Surveillance Network (GISN), concerned that strains H5N1 would used make vaccines high-income countries which then “resold” Indonesia at what they considered unaffordable prices.
