摘要: We analyze the performance of a helmet-based frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar system for use in impact prediction contact sports, or other risky environments. It has been shown that head trauma and concussions can have significant detrimental effects on health quality life sport athletes, from high school to professional level. Impact capability could be an important part comprehensive, mitigating neurological damage caused by impacts. Mitigation strategies include using imminent information audible warning system, dynamic preloading control active helmet suspension. Our analysis centers offset parameter (and its uncertainty) representative player interaction scenario. consider realistic measurement specifications consistent with our scenario, COTS hardware, including oscillator phase noise, operation frequency, sweep bandwidth, range, target scattering cross-section, antenna gain.
